Description

ReN in Translation and Interpreting was convened as a meeting place for scholars conducting research on translation and interpreting informed by the methods, frameworks and paradigms of Linguistics. Functioning as a forum for intra-disciplinary exchange, its primary goal is to encourage applied research and generate the potential for future collaborative projects, which would help define the subsequent activities of the ReN . Furthermore, it aims to build upon the uniquely broad academic network that AILA provides to activate to promote cross-disciplinary co-operation and to achieve a greater visibility for the research done in our own field.
