Committees – AILA
AILA has eight standing committees. They have three-year terms and all are appointed by the President who keeps in mind the need for geographic representation.
Solidarity Award Committee
The Solidarity Award Committee has as its purpose to administer the selection of awardees for each World Congress. The committee is chaired by the Vice President, its members are two members of the International Committee (IC). One of them is the IC representative from the upcoming AILA World Congress host country.

The Honorary Award Committee
The Honorary Award Committee has as its purpose to administer the selection of Honorary Members. It is chaired by a member-at-large and includes three members of the International Committee (IC).

Editorial Board of AILA Review
The Editorial Board of AILA Review oversees the planning and quality of future issues. The committee is chaired by the Publications Coordinator. In addition, one Executive Board (EB) Member-at-Large, one member of the International Committee (IC) and two well-regarded scholars.

The ReN committee oversees all matters pertaining to ReN activities including decisions about approval and continuation of ReNs. The committee is chaired by the ReN coordinator. In addition, one member-at-large and three members of the International Committee (IC) will serve on the committee.
