Video Enhanced Observation (VEO) Research Event

Thursday, December 16 at 5 p.m. GMT
@ ilab:learn, Room B83, King George VI Building, Newcastle University.

This is a hybrid event* with both in-person** and online attendance (via zoom) available.

On behalf of Newcastle University and VEO Group, Professor Paul Seedhouse invites you to join us as we celebrate the launch of our latest book: Video Enhanced Observation for Language Teaching: Reflection and Professional Development.

* Tickets are free, although places to attend in person are limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

** This event follows Newcastle University's COVID procedures, so please bring a face mask to wear when needed.

Discussing digital technology in teaching and learning settings, Video Enhanced Observation for Language Teaching researches how the VEO app can be used to tag, analyse and evaluate talk, and its use as the basis for reflection and professional development.

In this exclusive launch event, we celebrate all those who helped to make this book happen. Including lecturers from Newcastle University, the VEO team, and teachers and academics from across the world.

Developed in Newcastle University's School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences, VEO was the first ever HASS Faculty spin-off company in 2015 and now has clients in over 30 countries across the globe.
