Glasgow's Masters in Applied Linguistics focuses on how linguistic research can help solve language-related problems in professional practice and public life. It is designed for you to become a research-led specialist in areas such as language & education, intercultural communication, language & politics and professional discourse. You will design and undertake your own applied research project as part of this degree.

Applied Linguistics Awards
The School of Critical Studies at Glasgow University is offering a number of scholarships exclusively for study on our exciting new MSc in Applied Linguistics for academic years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.
The Applied Linguistics Awards are £10k for international students and £5k for UK/EU students.
All awards are for tuition fee discount.
