AILA 2021-2024 Committees

AILA has nine standing committees. They have three-year terms and all are appointed by the President who keeps in mind the need for geographic representation.

The Editorial Board of AILA Applied Linguistics Series

The Editorial Board of AILA Applied Linguistics Series oversees the planning and quality of future book publications. The committee is chaired by the Publications Coordinator. In addition, one Executive Board (EB) Member-at-Large, one member of the International Committee (IC) and three well-regarded scholars (selected by the Publications Coordinator in consultation with the President).

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is charged with the responsibility of creating a viable group of candidates for each of the Executive Board (EB) positions. ReN Committee

The committee is co-chaired by the President and an additional member and is made up of at least two additional members: one EB member and one IC member or co-opted member.
