TEANGA Journal listed in Scopus
TEANGA, The Journal of the Irish Association for Applied Linguistics, has been accepted for indexing in Scopus. Scopus is the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, and this inclusion recognises TEANGA’s importance as a bilingual, open-access journal dedicated to outstanding applied linguistics research in Ireland and beyond.
This development also marks an important step forward for the journal as it ensures that articles published in TEANGA are easily found and enables TEANGA authors to keep track of how often their articles have been cited by others. It also allows Irish-language scholarship its rightful place alongside the dominant languages of publishing.
The current editors are Úna Bhreathnach, Colin Flynn and Stephen Lucek.
