Due to the uncertainty arising from the pandemic, the 6th Saarbrüchen Conference on Foreign Language Teaching will be held online. We are acutely aware of the fact that this is just the second-best solution and we regret having had to make this decision, but we will do our utmost to make this online conference a platform to continuously bring scholars together.
The traditional elements of our conferences (keynotes, plenary talks, section talks and panel discussion) will be kept and this time, they will be complemented by poster presentations.
As for the duration of talks, keynotes will be 45 minutes long (+ 15 minutes of Q&A), plenary talks 30 minutes (plus 15 minutes of Q&A), and the duration of section talks will be 20 minutes (+ 10 minutes of Q&A).
Our book exhibition will also be included so that participants will be able to get in touch with the partaking publishing houses and their representatives.
We will even try to simulate our traditional entertainment evening so as to offer our participants a platform for networking.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. To register for the conference, please use our online form. We cordially invite scholars who wish to present research findings by uploading their abstracts for a contributed talk or a poster presentation, to our registration form. As has been the case with our previous conferences, publication of selected talks given at the conference in the form of a peer-reviewed, edited book is planned. We are looking forward to seeing you (again) in Saarbrücken virtually and hope that we will feel some togetherness although being apart from each other in different corners of the world.
